Horse chestnut is probably the most popular herb used in the treatment of varicose veins. It is the seeds of the horse chestnut tree which are used medicinally – and these are the same seeds gathered each autumn for the game of conkers.
Contains an extract obtained from Horse Chestnut seeds in the form of a gastro-resistant herbal tablet.
Each tablet contains extract equivalent to Aesculus hippocastanum (Common Horse Chestnut) fresh seed 956.25mg equivalent to 50mg of escin.
This product also contains soya polysaccharide. Do not use if you are allergic to peanut or soya.
Adults and children 12 years and over:
Take 1 tablet with water, 2 times daily, with morning or evening meal, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Not recommended during pregnancy or breast feeding.
Not recommended for people taking medication prescribed by their
doctor.
Not recommended for people with allergies to Aesculus hippocastanum and relates species.
