The slightly sweet delicate flavour and mild crunch gives a distinctive flavour to almost any dish. They are great in salads and on sandwiches. Sunflower sprouts are an excellent source of essential nutrients and contribute to healthy balanced nutrition.
How to use Sunflower seeds for sprouting
Before sprouting, rinse thoroughly in fresh water then soak seeds for 8-12 hours. For best results sow seeds thinly. Germination time may vary with temperature.
Amount per tray / jar: 1 tablespoons of seeds
Temperature: 18 – 20oC
Water: 2 – 3 times daily
Ready to eat: After approximately 3 to 6 days
Ingredients: Organically grown Sunflower seeds – Helianthus annus.
